DESCRIPTION:Hydrogeology as the Key to a Sustainable Future: Water Resources Management to be Discussed in Astana\n\n\nOn April 3\, a panel session will be held in Astana as part of the GEOSCIENCE & EXPLORATION CENTRAL ASIA 2026 forum.\n“The Role of Hydrogeology in Sustainable Water Resources Management.”\n\n\nThe session will take place from 09:00 to 10:30 in the plenary hall.\n\n\nThe focus is on water security in Central Asia\, modern approaches to resource management and regional cooperation.\n\n\nConfirmed speakers include:\n— Nurzhan Nurzhigitov\, Minister of Water Resources and Irrigation of the Republic of Kazakhstan;\n— Malis Absametov\, director of the Institute of Hydrogeology and Geoecology named after. MIND.
