Central Asia: Regional Initiatives in Sustainable Energy
The Climate Change and Sustainable Energy Program of the Regional Environmental Centre for Central Asia (CAREC) supports Central Asian countries in adopting low-carbon development approaches, improving energy efficiency, and utilizing renewable energy sources (RES).
CAREC’s Climate Change and Sustainable Energy Program provides assistance to national policymakers, helping them develop effective strategies for adapting to and mitigating climate change impacts. The program also fosters dialogue between key sectors and organizations, including international partners.
