At a meeting on December 5, the Cabinet of Ministers adopted a decision on the Climate Finance Center.
A decision was made to rename the Climate Finance Center under the Ministry of Natural Resources, Ecology and Technical Supervision into the Climate Finance Center under the Cabinet of Ministers.
“The document was adopted in order to properly represent the interests of Kyrgyzstan in the UN Green Climate Fund, in international organizations, attract and promote investments, assist in ensuring sustainable socio-economic development in the face of climate change through the dissemination and transfer of modern technologies to various sectors of the economy,” it says in the message.
