On September 9, 2024, the Algorithm training center became the venue for the National Children’s Conference on Climate Change.

Participants included children aged 12-17, SDG Young Ambassadors, representatives of the German Embassy in Turkmenistan, the German Society for International Cooperation (GIZ), the European Union Delegation to Turkmenistan, as well as staff from UN agencies.

Participants gathered to discuss environmental issues and propose solutions to help combat climate change.

The United Nations considers climate change to be one of the most significant global challenges of our time. Addressing environmental sustainability is essential to enable the United Nations Children’s Fund (UNICEF) to fulfil its mandate to protect the world’s most vulnerable children.
