On March 17, 2025, the “Final training of the project on capacity building in the field of the National Climate Adaptation Plan in Tajikistan” was held with the organization of the University of Central Asia and the financial support of the Green Climate Fund, implemented by the UNDP program (UNDP) jointly with the Agency for Hydrometeorology and the Committee for Environmental Protection under the Government of the Republic of Tajikistan.

        Participants of the event: government and scientific workers, as well as specialists who are involved in the program of the National Strategy for Adaptation to Climate Change of the Republic of Tajikistan.

        The purpose of the training is to improve the skills of specialists and introduce advanced methods and technologies in the preparation and implementation of the national climate change adaptation plan for priority key sectors of Tajikistan’s economy.

        During the training, participants acquired in-depth knowledge and practical skills that will help them solve professional tasks more effectively and contribute to the development of their fields.

        In conclusion, the participants who attended more than 70% of the training modules were awarded certificates and electronic modules.
