At the panel session of the Regional Environmental Center for Central Asia (CAREC) “Green Energy” of the regional forum “Green Economy – 2024: Green Development Path for Central Asia 2024“, leading experts from Kazakhstan, Kyrgyzstan, Tajikistan, Turkmenistan and Uzbekistan discussed the development and prospects of cooperation between Central Asian countries in the field of green energy, in particular renewable energy sources (RES), as well as opportunities for joint promotion and implementation of RES projects in the region.

The regional forum is organized by the Ministry of Economy and Commerce of the Kyrgyz Republic jointly with CAREC with the support of international partners, including UNDP, OSCE and GIZ on October 23, 2024 in Bishkek, Kyrgyzstan.
