This biodiversity assessment has three interlinked objectives: · To summarize the status of biodiversity and its conservation in Central Asia. Specifically, it analyzes threats, identifies opportunities, and makes recommendations for the improved conservation of biodiversity. This information will help USAID and other organizations and individuals, as appropriate, make decisions related to biodiversity conservation.
