The Usek River Cascade Hydroelectric Power Plant in Kazakhstan is an important energy project with a total installed capacity of 44 megawatts, consisting of four cascade hydroelectric power plants. The project is being implemented in the Panfilov district of the Almaty region, its total length is 14.6 kilometers, the height difference is 240 meters.
As a key energy supply project in the area, once completed, this power plant will significantly reduce the burden on local production, while also effectively improving the quality of life of the local population. At the same time, it will also lay a solid foundation for the low-carbon and green transformation of Kazakhstan’s energy sector, contributing to the optimization and modernization of the country’s energy structure and achieving sustainable development.
