In Fergana, investors from Turkey plan to build a solar power plant worth 57 million euros

In the Fergana region, Turkish investors are planning to build a solar photovoltaic station worth 57 million euros. This was reported by  the press service of the khokimiyat.

This project and other issues were discussed during a meeting between the head of the region, Khairulla Bozorov, and a member of the Tourism Committee under the President of Turkey, Ibrahim Uzer, on September 16. The meeting discussed promising projects that are planned to be implemented in the Fergana region in the fields of energy, medicine and social sphere with the participation of Turkish entrepreneurs.

The solar power plant is planned to be built in the Eco-city – New Uzbekistan massif with a capacity of 80 MW. The station will occupy an area of ​​80 hectares and produce 150 million kW/h of electricity. The project is planned to be implemented by September 2025.
