The third and final regional SECCA training on integrated analysis in the field of energy and climate was held in Almaty

Representatives of Turkmenistan took part in the third and final regional training on integrated analysis in the field of energy and climate, which was organized in Almaty by the European Union’s Sustainable Energy Linkages in Central Asia (SECCA) project.

The training brought together young specialists and national experts from relevant ministries and agencies of the Central Asian region. Participants learned technical methods of quantitative analysis and modeling and their links with the preparation of strategic documents and integrated plans in the field of energy and climate.

As part of its work, the SECCA project created a Regional Modeling Group, which included two young specialists from each Central Asian country, and conducted three regional trainings on energy modeling from September 2024 to January 2025.

The goal of the trainings Is to transfer the main concepts, theoretical and practical approaches related to the analysis and modeling of complex energy systems at the national and regional levels, reports “Turkmenistan: Golden Age”.
