Chairman of the Cabinet of Ministers and Head of the Presidential Administration of the Kyrgyz Republic Adylbek Kasymaliev met with Masdar CEO Mohammed Jameel Al Ramahi on the sidelines of the World Government Summit in Dubai, UAE.
During the meeting, issues of cooperation in the field of renewable energy were discussed, including the development of joint projects in solar and wind energy in Kyrgyzstan. Adylbek Kasymaliev emphasized the strategic importance of developing green energy for the country and expressed interest in attracting best practices and investments. The CEO of Masdar, in turn, expressed a desire to continue cooperation and highlighted the high potential of Kyrgyzstan in the use of renewable energy sources.
The parties agreed to further interaction and continuation of negotiations on projects, and also announced that a working group of the company will soon arrive in Kyrgyzstan for further work.
