We are pleased to inform you that the collection «Қазақстанның орнықты даму бағдары», compiled as a results of the collaborative efforts of analysts and mentors from the third cohort of the “Taldau Mektebi – School of Analytics” project, is published on the website of the Senate of the Parliament of the Republic of Kazakhstan. The materials of the collection cover five key areas of the Sustainable Development Goals: poverty eradication, improving health and education levels, enhancing water quality and economic growth.

The presentation of the collection took place earlier during a session of the Taldau Talks dialogue platform, with the participation of the Chairman of the Senate of the Parliament of the Republic of Kazakhstan, Maulen Ashimbayev.

It should be noted that Zamira Zholdaskyzy, Coordinator for Development of Community of Practice and Network of Academic Society contributed to the writing of the collection from the Regional Environmental Centre for Central Asia (CAREC). Thus, a lot of work has been done to analyze the challenges and opportunities for the introduction of water-saving technologies in Kazakhstan. Based on the results of the analysis, a group of experts, including the CAREC representative, put forward a number of recommendations for the Government of the Republic of Kazakhstan (pp. 121-137).

The School of Analytics is a volunteer project of the Senate of the Parliament of the Republic of Kazakhstan aimed at enhancing the quality of analytical approaches in public administration, social and humanitarian sciences, media activities, and the civil sector.

We remind you that on behalf of CAREC, Zamira Zholdaskyzy, Coordinator for Development of Community of Practice and Network of Academic Society, took part in the third cohort of the public project “Schools of Analytics” at the Senate of the Parliament of the Republic of Kazakhstan.
