The Education for Sustainable Development (ESD) programme team on December 13, 2024 will take part in the webinar hosted by the ASEAN Circular Economy Business Alliance (ACEBA). The session, titled “Business Leadership: Raising the Circular Economy Ambition,” will focus on exploring how businesses in Southeast Asia can lead the transition toward a circular economy.
The primary goal of the webinar will be to discuss how circular economy practices are being applied across various industries in ASEAN countries, such as agri-food, textiles, and construction. The event will also provide insights into the practical business cases developed by ACEBA, showcasing successful circular economy initiatives from across the region. These cases will demonstrate the positive environmental impacts, including waste reduction and greenhouse gas emission reductions, that businesses can achieve by embracing circular economy principles.
