The Regional Environmental Centre for Central Asia (CAREC) has signed memoranda of understanding with the leading public organizations of Turkmenistan – the Society for Nature Conservation of Turkmenistan and the Tebigi Kuvvat enterprise.

The memoranda were signed following negotiations with representatives of the civil sector in Turkmenistan at the CAREC project office in Turkmenistan.

“This event opens a new page of cooperation with the civil society of Turkmenistan and provides new opportunities for the implementation of new joint projects with NGOs of Turkmenistan and CAREC,” said Mergen Kepbanov, the Director of the CAREC Project Office in Turkmenistan.
