On February 26 of this year, a bilateral meeting was held with the Regional Manager for Asia-Pacific and Eastern Europe of the NDC Partnership, Mr. Deo Gabinet.
During the meeting, the parties discussed prospects for cooperation in the development of an updated NDC (National Determined Contributions).
This meeting was held on the eve of the Coordination Meeting of NDC Partners, which is scheduled for February 27 of this year, as part of the NDC Partnership mission.
It should be noted that the main goals of the event are to review Kazakhstan’s progress in terms of implementing NDCs and reducing greenhouse gas emissions, strengthening coordination between partners and determining a further work plan.
During this mission, NDC Partnership will provide technical and expert assistance to Kazakhstan in developing an updated NDC.
