Applications are now open for the Climate Story Fund 2025! 🎥🎙️✨

The Doc Society Climate Story Fund team is looking for 6-8 powerful documentary projects – films, podcasts and radio programs – that tell important climate stories from around the world.

WHAT DO THEY OFFER?

✅ Grants from $50,000 to $125,000 for production and impact activities
✅ Participation in the Virtual Impact Lab to strengthen the impact strategy
✅ Support all the way – from creation to implementation of the impact strategy

❗️Projects should be ready for launch by mid-2026 or earlier.

KEY DATES:

February 10, 2025 – Application Open
February 26, 2025 – Information Webinar
March 10, 2025 – Deadline (7:00 AM PT)
June 20, 2025 – Draft Submission Selection (if ready)
July 14-16, 2025 – Zoom Interviews with Finalists
July 25, 2025 – Grant Recipients Announced

#ClimateStoryFund is looking for diverse, emotionally engaging stories that:
🔹 Show the interconnectedness of all living things and offer new visions for the future
🔹 Open up the climate debate to a wider audience and include marginalized voices
🔹 Shape new norms and values, inspire action

Since 2021, they have committed $4 million to support 50+ projects changing the climate narrative. These stories are already appearing on BBC, Netflix, Spotify, Hulu, Disney+, YouTube, WhatsApp and other media.
