This Training of Trainers (ToT) is aimed to improve the Proficiency of the environmental professionals, industry representatives, and regulators in BAT & BREF Development Processes in Kazakhstan, and to equip them with various tools, guidelines, educational resources, policy recommendations, strategic plans, and legal regulations related to the BAT/BREFF subjects.

The TOT will cover, but is not limited to, the following subjects:

● Providing an overview of the sectors, including production, techniques, capacities, and primary pollutants;
● Detailing the technologies and methods employed in the sector;
● Identifying potential Best Available Techniques (BAT) and offering information on their emissions and other relevant environmental data;
● Providing in-depth information on Best Available Techniques (BAT), including emission measurement prerequisites and monitoring protocols;
● Bring analyses of the environmental advantages of implementing BAT;
● Addressing the constraints in applying BAT;
● Analyzing economic indicators associated with Best Available Techniques.
