📣 On February 27, Kyrgyzstan officially launches its First Biennial Transparency Report (BTR1) under the enhanced transparency framework (ETF) of the Paris Agreement 📝

📊 BTR1 will provide important data on Kyrgyzstan’s greenhouse gas emissions, climate policy and progress towards achieving Nationally Determined Contributions (NDCs), strengthening accountability and facilitating access to international climate finance.

🙌🏽 This will help expand access to carbon markets and emissions trading.

👏 This important step, carried out by the Ministry of Natural Resources, Ecology and Technical Supervision of the Kyrgyz Republic, and implemented by UNDP in the Kyrgyz Republic, strengthens national climate governance and increases transparency in reporting on greenhouse gas emissions 🪴
