By 2030, three wind power plants with a total capacity of two gigawatts are planned to be built in the Zhambyl region, 24KZ reports . Projects in Talas, Sarysu and Moyynkum districts are being implemented by investors from France, the United Arab Emirates and China. Currently, 22 stations operate in the region using wind, sun and water. The region ranks second in the republic in terms of alternative energy development.
