March 3- is World Wildlife Day. On this date, attention is paid to nature conservation all over the world.

To ensure the implementation of Presidential Resolution  RP-171 dated May 31, 2023 “On measures to transform the sphere of ecology and environmental protection and the organization of the activities of the authorized State body”, the Ministry of Ecology, Environmental Protection and Climate Change, the Council of Ministers of the Republic of Karakalpakstan, the regional and Tashkent city khokimiyat, the Ministry of Higher Education, Science and innovation, the Ministry of Preschool and School Education, the National Television and Radio Company of Uzbekistan, the National Media Association of Uzbekistan, The National Information Agency of Uzbekistan and the Agency for Information and Mass Communications are conducting several activities to protect wildlife.

In particular, on March 3 at 11:00 in the Tashkent Zoo, round tables and actions among residents and youth of the capital dedicated to endangered species of wild animals and plants will be organized.

In addition, presentations on the protection of wildlife for the media will be held in all regions of our republic, infographics and videos will be distributed, and propaganda and explanatory work will be carried out in educational institutions with the participation of specialists. Free visits to zoos will also be organized for children.
