The REAP Project is to be implemented in Tajikistan in order to directly support provided to micro, small and medium enterprises (MSMEs) in agri-food production and processing sector through capacity building measures, direct consultation and guidance through the process of implementing Sustainable Consumption and Production (SCP) practices. This document is an initial draft based on desk research. The report will be updated at the end of the REAP project with the feedbacks and experiences drawn from the project’s cleantech finance related activities with MSMEs and financial institutions. Contents within this document include: a background of Tajikistan’s economic situation; the Tajik Cleantech Finance Ecosystem; financial schemes for MSMEs in agro-processing sector in Tajikistan; Policy Reforms; initial recommendations.
