February 2, 2021, in honor of the World Day of Wetlands, as well as the fiftieth anniversary of the Ramsar Convention, in the Main Department of Biodiversity and Protected Areas under the State Committee on Ecology of Uzbekistan, a working meeting dedicated to the current environmental status of Ramsar sites of the Republic of Uzbekistan was held. The purpose of this meeting was to discuss the importance of the wetlands of the Republic of Uzbekistan.
