Nexus Training was created by the Regional Nexus Dialogues Program, co-funded by the European Union (EU) and the German Federal Ministry for Economic Cooperation and Development (BMZ), together with the independent think tank Adelphi in 2022, with the aim of promoting the implementation of the WEP Nexus approach worldwide. The training consists of 3 modules, which contain theoretical materials and practical exercises, cases. As part of the training, an interactive Nexus simulation (Nexus game) is also played.
This training material has been adapted for the Central Asian region by the Regional Environmental Center for Central Asia (CAREC). It will promote the wider application of the Nexus approach in planning, policy development and implementation in the countries of the region.
