Uzbekistan sets new record for renewable energy share in its power mix

  QAZAQ GREEN.  Uzbekistan’s power system has recorded a new milestone in the share of renewable energy in electricity consumption, Uzbekistan’s Energy Ministry reports. As of 11:00 a.m. on March 13, total electricity demand in the country reached 9,900 MW. Of this amount, 4,300 MW, or 43%, was supplied by renewable energy sources.
