The Minister expressed gratitude to the Emirati side for its support of Kazakhstan in the development of the national hydrometeorological service and expressed confidence that the trilateral Memorandum of Cooperation signed on October 2, 2025, between the UAE National Meteorological Center, Kazhydromet, and Kazaeronavigatsia will serve as a solid foundation for the development of long-term partnerships and strengthen scientific ties.

Noting Kazakhstan’s active participation in WMO initiatives and programs, Minister Y. Nysanbayev emphasized the importance of implementing the “Early Warning for All” initiative, which aims to ensure every country and every person in the world has access to up-to-date warnings about hazardous events. He also briefed the meeting participants on the ongoing work to ensure the sustainable development of the National Hydrometeorological and Environmental Monitoring Service (NHMS).
