
A meeting with Eldik Bank OJSC was held at the Ministry of Natural Resources, Ecology, and Technical Supervision of the Kyrgyz Republic to discuss the implementation of climate and environmental projects.
The Ministry noted that Eldik Bank OJSC had successfully completed the process of obtaining direct access status to the largest international climate mechanism, the Green Climate Fund (GCF). Nogaev on this achievement, emphasizing the significance of the work accomplished and the high level of cooperation between the parties.
It was especially noted that Eldik Bank OJSC was the first and, to date, the only bank in the country to obtain this status in such a short timeframe. It was emphasized that this result is the result of coordinated and constructive collaboration, as well as institutional support from the Ministry of Natural Resources at all stages of the process.
In turn, Eldik Bank OJSC Chairman of the Management Board U. Nogaev expressed gratitude to the Ministry for its comprehensive support and effective collaboration in obtaining direct access status.
It was noted that this status opens up new opportunities for attracting international financing and implementing large-scale country initiatives in the areas of climate and ecology.
The parties confirmed their intention to continue close cooperation and consolidate efforts to advance projects aimed at:
