QAZAQ GREEN. Tajikistan has secured USD 100 million in financing to continue construction of the Rogun Hydropower Plant, according to the press service of the Ministry of Finance of Tajikistan.

The corresponding financing agreement for Lot 2 of the project was signed on February 4, 2026, in Dubai with the Abu Dhabi Fund for Development.

The document was signed by Tajikistan’s Minister of Finance, Faiziddin Kakhkhorzoda, and the Director General of the Abu Dhabi Fund for Development, Mohammed Saif Al Suwaidi.

The funds will be used to finance construction and infrastructure works under Lot 2 of the Rogun Hydropower Plant, a strategically important national project for Tajikistan.
