Applications for the 8th Aral Summer School are now open!
Dates: August 14–22, 2026
In 2026, the program will focus on education for sustainable development, science communication, and knowledge exchange in the Aral Sea region.
Participants will attend lectures and training sessions in Almaty, conduct field research in the Aral Sea region, and work on educational materials based on real-world field experience.
Young researchers, teachers and specialists in the fields of ecology, water resources, climate change, agriculture and education are invited to participate.
