The German-Kazakh University (DKU) is holding the final event (Demo Day) of the regional training “Adaptation to Climate Change and Water Resources Management: From Research to Sustainable Solutions,” organized by DKU with the support of the Deutsche Gesellschaft für Internationale Zusammenarbeit (GIZ) and the Organization for Security and Cooperation in Europe (OSCE).

During Demo Day, young specialists and researchers from Central Asian countries will present the results of their project work. The initiatives they are developing are aimed at finding applied, research, and entrepreneurial solutions in the areas of climate change adaptation, water resource management, energy, and sustainable development.

The event will provide a platform for the exchange of knowledge, ideas, and experience between young leaders from the region and representatives of international organizations, the private sector, and the academic community.

Participation in Demo Day will provide the opportunity to:
learn about projects aimed at increasing the region’s climate resilience;
establish contacts with young professionals and experts from the five Central Asian countries;
discuss promising ideas for further partnerships and joint initiatives.
