The 2025 GIS-in-Central-Asia Conference continues the tradition of GISCA conferences and will be held as an on-site conference at the Faculty of Geography and Nature Management of the Al-Farabi Kazakh National University in Almaty.

The aim of the conference – to exchange knowledge and experience between scientists, specialists and trainees in the field of GIS in Central Asia and Europe, promoting cooperation and innovation in the field of geoinformatics; promotion and development of geoinformation technologies in the Central Asian region.

Organizational fee: There is an organizational fee for participation in the conference to cover the costs of preparing and holding the event. The organizational fee is 20 euros for participants from CIS countries and 50 euros for participants from other countries. Payment of the organizational fee for foreign participants of the conference is provided upon arrival at Al-Farabi KazNU.
