• Exchanging experiences between countries in the region and international experts on glacier monitoring, water resource conservation, and climate change adaptation.

• Developing joint initiatives and strategies for glacier and cryosphere preservation, improving water resource management, and minimizing the impacts of global warming.

Expected Outcomes

• Strengthening collaboration among scientists, government agencies, the private sector, and civil society organizations.

• Developing practical recommendations / policy briefs for improving glacier monitoring and conservation.

• Enhancing public and stakeholder awareness of climate change issues and glacier conditions.
