Regional Meeting 2025: Organics – Ambassador of Peace in Central Asia
Organic agriculture not only provides the population with environmentally friendly food products, but also makes a huge contribution to the preservation of biodiversity, improving the quality of soil and water, and protecting the environment.
In this regard, the OSCE Programme Office in Bishkek announces the holding of the Regional Meeting of the Central Asian Organic Alliance , scheduled for 23-25 April 2025 in Bishkek, Kyrgyzstan.
The aim of this event is to create a dialogue platform for strengthening and developing organic agriculture in Central Asia, as well as to establish strong and sustainable links between all stakeholders of the organic movement in Central Asia.
The following events are planned within the framework of the Organic Alliance Regional Meeting Program:
— Exchange of experience and development of joint initiatives for the development of the organic movement in Central Asia;
— Discussion of legal aspects of the creation of the Central Asian Organic Alliance;
— Development of a unified strategy for the development of a Roadmap for the Central Asian Organic Alliance and the definition of further steps for the integration of organic agriculture in the countries of the region;
— Adoption of a declaration to support the creation of the Central Asian Organic Alliance and further steps to develop the organic movement in the region;
— Discussion of preparations for the Regional Forum “Organic Expo – Central Asia 2025”, scheduled for September 2025 in Almaty, Republic of Kazakhstan.
