
QAZAQ GREEN. In Kyrgyzstan, new renewable energy projects are being discussed with Chinese company CECEP Solar Energy Co., Ltd.
Ravshanbek Sabirov, head of the National Investment Agency under the President of Kyrgyzstan, held talks with company representatives to explore opportunities in solar energy, including the construction and operation of generating facilities and the implementation of energy-efficient technologies, according to the agency’s website.
Special focus was given to the Ak-Tatyr solar power project in the Batken region, managed by CECEP Solar Energy. The discussions also covered expanding the company’s investment portfolio in the country.
The parties considered various forms of cooperation, including public-private partnerships and investment agreements. CECEP Solar Energy confirmed its interest in developing current projects and launching new initiatives.
At the conclusion of the talks, both sides expressed their intention to strengthen long-term strategic cooperation and continue work on specific projects in the energy sector.
