QAZAQ GREEN.   By September 1, the Ministry of Construction, Architecture and Housing and Utilities and the Ministry of Energy must develop a regulatory act on the installation of solar panels on the roofs of state and commercial buildings. This became known at a meeting of the parliamentary committee on the fuel and energy complex, subsoil use and industrial policy,  24.kg

According to Deputy Minister of Energy Nasipbek Kerimov, the departments received such an order from the head of the Cabinet of Ministers today.

At the meeting, the deputies heard information about the work done to implement the “One House – One Generation” project.

Nasipbek Kerimov recalled that in order to implement the project and eliminate the capacity deficit in the energy sector, a Cabinet of Ministers order was adopted on November 4, 2024, providing for the commissioning of renewable energy sources (RES) and microgeneration facilities (solar panels, solar collectors, small photovoltaic stations, wind generators).

MP Seidbek Atambayev raised the issue of implementing a project to provide the village of Zardaly in the Batken region with electricity through solar panels, noting that they need to be disposed of in 20-30 years, and called for the development of mechanisms for their proper and safe disposal.

The committee chairman Azizbek Tursunbayev noted that there are currently about 40 small hydroelectric power plants operating throughout the country and asked under what conditions the state purchases the electricity they generate. To which Nasipbek Kerimov reported that in 2024, electricity worth 958 million soms was purchased from small hydroelectric power plants, and in the first five months of 2025, the amount was 422 million soms.
