The program of the Central Asian Conference on Climate Change, held on May 13-14, 2025 in Ashgabat, Turkmenistan, was traditionally very intense. Suffice it to say that the plenary sessions considered issues from climate financing to reducing the carbon footprint. All discussions were built on the content axis: realities – prospects. Alexey Kokorin, an expert on climate issues at the Russian Foundation “Nature and People”, a Nobel Peace Prize laureate in the Intergovernmental Panel on Climate Change, expressed his point of view on this paradigm at the request of Zhanna Khusainova, CAREC media expert.
