On February 12, 2026, an international conference titled “Achievements and Challenges in the Implementation of Gender Equality Policy in Tajikistan” was held at the National Library of Tajikistan.

The event was attended by representatives of the parliament, government bodies, international organizations, and civil society.

Isfandier Shukurзода, First Deputy Chairman of the Committee for Environmental Protection, delivered a report on the role of women and youth in implementing strategic documents in the field of environmental security.

Participants highlighted the importance of expanding the participation of women and youth in ensuring the country’s sustainable development.
