Kazakhstan’s Ambassador to India, Nurlan Zhalgasbayev, met with Vice President of JWIL Infra Ltd., Akshay Bhardwaj. During the meeting, discussions revolved around projects related to water supply, irrigation, wastewater treatment, and industrial effluent management, as well as exchanged opinions on investment cooperation in the development of water resources. Possible sources of financing for infrastructure projects were also explored.
JWIL Infra Ltd., a part of the OP Jindal Group (with a total worth of $27 billion USD) since its establishment in 2006, specializes in comprehensive water resource management. The company has successfully implemented projects in water supply, irrigation, wastewater treatment, and industrial effluent management across various regions, including India, Africa, and South Asia. Leveraging its own project, engineering, and execution capabilities, the company utilizes substantial financial resources from the OP Jindal Group.
