
QAZAQ GREEN. The Ministry of Energy of the Republic of Kazakhstan has announced the establishment of a sectoral council on professional qualifications in the field of renewable energy. The decision was adopted in accordance with Order No. 378 of September 8, 2023, issued by the Minister of Labor and Social Protection and registered in the State Register of Regulatory Legal Acts under No. 33405.
Under the approved rules, the council may include no more than two representatives from each of the following: a government body, the National Chamber of Entrepreneurs, the National Qualifications Authority, employers, sectoral trade unions (if any), industry associations or relevant sectoral organizations, as well as educational institutions offering programs in the relevant field.
Specialists engaged in certified types of work in the field of industrial safety and with experience in developing and implementing sectoral qualifications are invited to participate in the formation of the council.
Applicants seeking to join the council must submit, within five working days of the announcement’s publication, an application in the prescribed format along with documents confirming their experience in developing and implementing qualification requirements for certified industrial safety activities in accordance with Article 35 of the Labor Code of Kazakhstan.
