The third stream of Kazakhstani water industry specialists went to China for training

31 people went to the two-week courses in China. Previously, two groups of 30 specialists completed training in the neighboring country.
In total, 121 Kazakhstani water industry specialists will undergo advanced training courses in China this year. The training was organized at the expense of the Chinese side; funds from the state budget of the Republic of Kazakhstan were not allocated for organizing the event.

Currently, the Ministry of Water Resources and Irrigation is negotiating with Chinese partners to continue the joint training program.

“In April and May of this year, we sent two streams of 30 people to China, and they successfully completed their training. As part of the third stream, 31 water industry specialists went to China for a training course on water resources management and wastewater treatment. These courses are one of the measures within the framework of the implementation of the President’s Address, which emphasized the need for a systematic approach to training highly qualified personnel in the water sector,”  noted Vice Minister of Water Resources and Irrigation Aslan Abdraimov.
