The Permanent Representative of the Republic of Tajikistan to the UN, Jonibek Hikmat, held talks with UN Under-Secretary-General Rabab Fatima, according to the press service of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs.
The parties agreed on joint steps to coordinate the actions of landlocked countries, focusing on the implementation of the Avaza Action Framework.
Rabab Fatima also emphasized the importance of Tajikistan’s global initiatives, primarily those related to the conservation of water resources and glaciers.
