“Recently, at the president’s direction, 10 water management information systems were created, five of which are already fully operational. The resolution also stipulates that the Dustlik district of the Jizzakh region has been selected as a pilot site for the project to digitalize the ground-level water resource management system. This district will implement a project to transition the entire water management system to automated management,” he said.

To increase financial independence, institutions are allowed to direct 40% of water tax revenues toward strengthening their own material and technical base.
