Currently, state inspectors of the department are conducting environmental patrols on a 24-hour basis on a 176 km section of the Syr Darya River and a 154 km section of the Chirchik River.
To improve the effectiveness of environmental monitoring and strengthen the material and technical base, the National Committee on Ecology and Climate Change provided state inspectors with two SUVs, two motorboats, body cameras, night-time lighting devices, stun guns, GPS equipment, special tablets, and an unmanned aerial vehicle (drone).
During the reporting period, the department conducted over 100 raids, identifying 53 individuals in violation of environmental legislation. Fines totaling 125 million soums were imposed on 32 individuals for administrative violations, and environmental damages were assessed at 113 million soums. A total of 100.8 million soums were recovered.
During the raids, 44 animals and birds were seized from the offenders, which were subsequently released into their natural habitat. Additionally, 128 kg of fish, 340 meters of fishing line, and more than 10 illegal fishing tools (electric fishing rods) were confiscated.

In accordance with Decree No. 343 of the President of the Republic of Uzbekistan dated November 18, 2025, the Regulation on the State Inspectorate for Environmental Control (EcoPolice) of the National Committee on Ecology and Climate Change was approved. According to this Regulation, the EcoPolice is designated as the authorized body for the prevention, detection, and suppression of violations of environmental legislation and environmental protection, as well as the application of effective enforcement measures.
In addition, this Regulation grants Ecopolice officers the right to use physical force, special means (including stun guns) and service weapons, and also establishes the mandatory performance of official duties with the use of body cameras.
